The essentials

Start with the question in front of you.

Open any answer below. If your situation is more specific, send the context through the contact form.

01What does Apex Consulting Group do?

Apex provides owner-side energy assessments, facility and asset strategy, project representation, energy-systems consulting, industrial advisory, and managed maintenance planning. The work turns technical evidence into prioritized operating and capital decisions.

02Where does Apex work?

Apex is headquartered in Accra and serves organizations across Ghana and West Africa. Remote reviews can begin anywhere; site work depends on scope, access, safety, and travel requirements.

03What is the best first engagement?

The right starting point depends on the decision. A bill and data review may be enough for an early energy question; a condition assessment fits an asset-renewal decision; owner’s representation fits an active project. The contact form routes each enquiry to the appropriate practice.

04Is an energy screening the same as an energy audit?

No. Screening tools and early reviews help identify questions and potential priorities. A professional audit requires defined scope, reliable data, field verification, analysis, and findings tied to the owner’s decision.

05What information should we prepare?

Useful starting material includes 12–24 months of utility bills, generator fuel or run-hours, operating schedules, floor areas, equipment lists, drawings, maintenance records, complaints, alarms, and the decision deadline. Missing information does not prevent a conversation.

06Do you implement the projects you recommend?

Apex begins consulting-first and protects the owner’s decision. Where implementation support is useful, specialists and contractors can be coordinated under a clearly defined scope without obscuring accountability or conflicts.

07How are fees established?

Fees are based on facility size, number and complexity of systems, data quality, site access, travel, reporting depth, schedule, and the decision the work must support. A written scope and fee are agreed before professional work begins.

08Are the website calculators engineering advice?

No. The free calculators are planning screens built from user inputs. They do not provide a tariff quote, audit, design, compliance finding, savings guarantee, tax opinion, or investment recommendation.

09Can I use a currency other than Ghanaian cedi?

Yes. The calculators support GHS, NGN, XOF, GNF, SLE, USD, and EUR. Currency selection labels the values you enter; it does not apply a live exchange rate.

10What are the premium beta tools?

They are workflow previews for bill trends, tariff scenarios, lifecycle analysis, portfolio benchmarking, report building, backup power, and maintenance risk. They do not yet calculate, save, certify, or charge for results.

11How is submitted information handled?

Website enquiries and account information are used to route and support the requested service. Sensitive project files belong in the authenticated client area. The Privacy Policy and Terms explain the current controls and limitations.

12How quickly will Apex respond?

Apex aims to acknowledge qualified business enquiries promptly. Urgent safety or emergency conditions should be handled first through the responsible utility, emergency service, licensed contractor, or facility safety procedure.
