2. Energy Tools estimates
Results are planning estimates from user inputs—not engineering advice or a professional assessment. They are not a certified audit, tariff determination, investment recommendation, or savings guarantee. Results depend on user inputs, assumptions, billing structure, operating conditions, and calculation limitations.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for checking source data, tariff components, units, emission factors, facility boundaries, and assumptions. Do not use a website result as the sole basis for equipment purchase, compliance, safety, financing, contracting, or capital approval. Engage a qualified professional for consequential decisions.
4. Access and accounts
Public tools may be available without an account or through email access. Apex Workspace and member-tool access are request-based and subject to Apex approval; submitting a request does not guarantee approval or create a professional engagement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and must not attempt to interfere with the website, other users, or hosting systems. Tool availability may change as methods, data sources, and service terms are updated.
4A. Secure document intake
Document intake is provided for invited clients. Upload only records you are authorized to share and that are relevant to the stated purpose. Do not upload executable files, malicious content, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. File-type and size controls reduce risk but are not a substitute for your own security review.
4B. Payments and confirmations
Invoice pages may offer verified bank-transfer instructions or redirect you to a third-party hosted checkout. A submitted transfer reference or return from hosted checkout does not by itself prove payment. Apex marks an invoice paid only after finance reconciliation or a verified payment-provider confirmation. Never send Apex a card number, CVV, Mobile Money PIN, OTP, or online-banking password.
4C. Consultant-validated facility benchmark
The GHS 50 benchmark is a limited screening service based primarily on information supplied by the client. The fee covers one facility, one defined data period, one minor investment question, and one review cycle unless Apex agrees otherwise in writing. The resulting memorandum is not an energy audit, engineering design or report, statutory certificate, professional engineering seal, investment-grade audit, savings guarantee, tariff confirmation, lender certification, tax opinion, or investment recommendation. Digital or typed reviewer identification records who completed Apex's limited review; it is not a regulatory stamp or engineering seal. Apex may request better data, decline validation, or recommend a separately scoped site assessment where the evidence or decision risk exceeds this service.
5. Intellectual property
The Apex name, branding, original graphics, website design, reports, methods, and written content are owned by or licensed to Apex Building Maintenance & Services Ltd. Third-party photographs remain subject to their respective licenses. You may not republish or commercially exploit website materials without written permission.
6. Availability and external services
Apex may change, suspend, or withdraw website features. Links to WhatsApp, email, authentication, or other external services are provided for convenience and are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy practices.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apex is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on preliminary website content or tool outputs, interrupted access, inaccurate user inputs, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
